About the Institution

              Teacher Training Institute (TTI) Nemmara.Palakkad is promoted by Arts& Science Cultural and Charitable Society(Registered Under the literary,cultural,scientific and charitable societies Act 1956).This Institute has started functioning in2002 with a clear vision and objectives for being an outstanding center for Teacher Training Programme(Elementary)which is conducive for curriculum perspective.

About the Course

            Teacher Training Course TTC(Malayalam& Tamil Medium)recognized by NCTE(National Council for Teacher Education)and approved by General  Education Department,GOVT.of Kerala.50% of the total seats are management seat and 50% are merit seat .Those who are  successfully completed this course can seek employment in primary and upper primary schools in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.The management seats are filled by management based on merit and government(merit)seats are filled by concerned Deputy Director of education.

Location:

 Its Prime location is at Nemmara.This is the first self financing TTI in Nemmara Grama Panchayath.It is easily accessible for students from nearest panchayath namely Aylur,Nemmara,Melarcode, Nelliyampathy, Elavencherry and Palllasena also the midway and of vicinity of Pollachi-Thrissur state Highway.

            The institute shall be committed to develop as a value and need based quality education provider in our area.

Facilities

     a)      Library:-Full fledged library consist of three section

     b)     Reference Section:-Book in core subject including encyclopedia and other reference materials.

     c)      Reading Section:- Books and journal,magazine,pamlets etc.

     d)      Lending Section:-Books on academic courage and Novels, Short Stories etc. and nearly 5000 books are available in all.

Lab facility

a)      Multipurpose Psychology Lab:-Equipments and apparatus for various psychological test which are considered as indispensable for teacher education programme. Students counseling center (COMHAR)(Center of Mental  Health&Rehabitation)under supervision of psychological section.

 b)     Science Lab :-For sciencetific  experiments which are related to school level curriculum transaction.

c)      Educational Technology:-Television, Tape-Recorder,Overhead projector  demonstrates the current issues of education.

d)     Computer Lab:-The large spacious computer lab the students have a easy accessibility of each and every one with Broad Band connection to avail the world wide web network.

Students Council

From each class the students, they select representative and they become the bearers of the institution. Chairman,Secretary,Arts club  sports etc.

 Student Store

There is a Student store where the necessary things are available for students  with low cost.

Rest Room

Separate restroom are available for Boys and Girls in mid-day time and interval time. They also avail the purified cooled drinking water with automatic operating system.

Hostel

This institute have separate hostel for Boys and Girls Hygienic room with nutritious food. The students those who are taken admission should obey the rules and regulations of the Hostel from time to time.

Reprographic Facility

Reprographic Center is attached to office and library. The students can take Xerox copies of reference book. Note Book, Magazine. Question papers  for academic purpose with  low cost.

Medic care Facility

This institute has always keen on freshing  first Aid kit to meet emergency sickness and for all medical treatment will avai; around the clock from nearby hospital Hostel Inmates
